Entry into the course

There are no specific entry requirements for this course, but we recommend that students have at least a School Certificate or equivalent. Additionally, students must be over 18 years of age to begin their mandatory work placement and complete the qualification.

Students on this course are also required to complete 100 hours of supervised work placement with an approved Community Services workplace. Evidence provided by the supervisor will contribute toward the assessment of the student’s ability to work at this level.
